Coryander Friend is a commercial Production Designer with nearly 25 years of experience. She spent the first half of her career in production as a set decorator, and her knowledge of the department is rooted in the set dressing which tells the visual story. She has worked on many builds and fabrications as a Production Designer and has adept experience making sets from scratch in addition to augmenting locations. Coryander has shot in many international locations including Chile, Beijing, London, South Africa, and extensively in Mexico City. Friend works as a local in Los Angeles, and also lives in Montana where she curates her fine decorative art gallery and exhibition series, Placed. She is married to an art professor and entrepreneur and mother to their daughter, Lucky Bell.
